Hello there! I'm Linda Clark Taylor, an illustrator based in sunny California. Welcome to my portfolio.

What does "Bloom Where Planted", well my interpretation of this saying is that it means to bloom or grow in whatever situation you find yourself in. If we wait for that perfect place or time to improve ourselves or grow... then we are putting off until tomorrow. So was a reminder to me first and foremost, and if hopefully someone else we'll see the message behind it. It's not as grammatically perfect as the grammar police would have, but it's being condensed into three words that fit perfectly on this little button.
Wear it on a jacket, shirt, dress, cap, bag, backpack or place it on pin back board collection!
I'm an illustrator, who after having been a wife, grade school
teacher, homeschooling mom and reading/writing tutor — I finally
realized it was time for me to go back to the drawing board and get in
touch with my art education background for real this time.
Born in Illinois, I’m now a So. Cal transplant, who tinkers in the
garden — planting mostly succulents, flowers and a few veggie varieties.
I’m fond of watercolors, botanicals, type fonts and hand lettering,
while continually pushing myself to experiment with different mediums,
materials and subject matters.
